Dr. Eve Freda Zaritsky, MD

Seems knowledgeable but a bit odd. Kept trying to give me her CV and telling me she is great which made me feel uncomfortable. Friendly staff but messy exam room. Another obgyn suggested I go to another Kaiser surgeon which also was kinda a big red flag to me.

Dr. Zaritsky is very knowledgeable, very good surgeon, yet very sweet. She makes you feel comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better doctor to perform my hysterectomy. She held my hand while anesthesia is being administered and she was there when I woke up in the recovery room. She called to check on me after the surgery and kept in contact by email. Thank you so much Dr. Z, you are great!

She did a surgery on me called a laparoscopy with a myomectomy and got lots of fibroids out and I am now able to hold a baby! She made me feel comfortable, confident, happy, secure. She was warm and caring. Because of her great work I now have a 4 month old baby girl! She even personally called me after the surgery to check on me! You will luv her, honestly!

Highly recommended! Throughout my interactions with Dr. Zaritsky over the past year, she proved to be an amazingly talented doctor, caring and knowledgeable. Her casual demeanor makes her very approachable and she is truly concerned with her patient's well being. (She does go by Dr. Eve, or Eve - formality seems unimportant). She listens carefully, processes information quickly and has a practical approach to problems.My OBGYN recommended Dr. Zaritsky for a second opinion concerning uterine fibroids. I needed to decide whether to have surgery and if so what the impact would be for future pregnancies. Dr. Zaritsky personally reviewed ALL the options with me and offered me a bunch of clinical research articles to take home. Being a scientist myself, this afforded me the opportunity to review the information with my husband and make an educated decision to have the surgery. Dr. Zaritsky supported me in my decision while ensuring that I understood the procedure and associated risks. She is… a specialist in laparoscopy - a minimally invasive kind of surgery that involves a few small incisions, a camera and incredible skill. The day of surgery she quickly registered that my husband and mother, who accompanied me to the hospital, were worried and confused by hospital operations. She took the extra time to answer their questions and put them at ease (as much as possible, given the circumstances).When I walked into the operating room, with all the personnel swarming around, Dr. Zaritsky called a time-out and asked me to state clearly what kind of surgery I was to have. This ensured that the entire OR staff was on the same page and no errors were made. While I was being anaesthetized Dr. Zaritsky held my hand until I was out.... Next I woke up in recovery and she was right there to check on me and tell me that the surgery was a success. Post surgery Dr. Zaritsky called me every day to check on my recovery and gave me her cell phone number so I could reach her anytime. Now, 8 weeks post-surgery, thanks to Dr. Zaritsky I feel great! Should you ever need laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Zaritsky is the best!
