Dr. Evelin Rebeca Dacker, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Dacker for 1 1/2 years. She has always given me attention and ample time for our visits. She never judges or shames you and is there to help. She has a great staff especially her assistant Whitney. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Dacker to anyone. I have no doubt she cares for her patients.

I have been seeing Dr Dacker for going on 20 years (if not longer). And over those years I have never had reason to doubt any of her medical advice. She has always taken the time to fully hear me out whether it was a major problem or a minor concern and if it was an issue that she did not feel confident that she could provide the BEST advice she did not hesitate to refer me to one of her other colleagues. Wait time is usually not a problem as many times I am taken back before my scheduled time or within 5 minutes. As with all doctors there are the times when it takes longer but usually that is not the case. If the case arises where I need an unexpected appointment they do their best to fit me in, many times I am her last appointment as I am being squeezed in at the end of one of her long days. I hope that she continues with her practice in Salem long after I have the need for her services as I have no plans to ever change doctors.

I started seeing Dr. Dacker approximately 18 months ago for unexplained fatigue and impaired cognition/memory (mild but present). After multiple labs, it was determined that my cortisol levels were depleted, I had low iron and Vit D, and peri-menopause. She developed a treatment plan using integrative medicine/approach. After several months of treatment, my symptoms significantly improved and I regained my energy level! It is important to note that previous Doctors seemed uninterested in determining the cause of my symptoms. I appreciate the time and effort that she spent. I trust that she will continue to provide a high quality level of care!

She was 45 minutes late, rude and a lecturer. Very much a narcissist. Tells you she will do something and never does it. gets you into her office and charges you for things you don't even want or need.

Poor delivery skills/bedside manor.

I started seeing her in 2010. I have complained of the same issues to her time after time and they're only worsening. She doesn't want to hear anything you have to say. I wait 15 minutes in the waiting room to then have to wait another 15 for her to come into the room. She is always rude and acts as if she is wasting time. She seems unknowledgeable and has no clue of anything. I have been requesting a referral to be switched to another doctor and she will not do it. Probably due to the fact that she doesn't want to lose money. I feel that is all she is there for. I always laugh at her carpet skirts. I can't tell if she is trying to be a hippy. Anyways, from my experience she seems to discriminate. I am thinking of filling out a malpractice form.

Love Dr. Dacker; love the clinic (VIDA Family Medicine); love the staff. Two thumbs up!

I've been seeing Dr.Dacker since she was at Salem Family Physicians (both of the dr's there are not worth your time in my opinion) She diagnosed a serious condition with complete accuracy and made appropriate referrals that my previous MD overlooked and misdiagnosed.Dr. Dacker takes interest in my personal life as well as my overall health and takes time to listen during my appointments.

She does not care when her patients are pregnant and in pain caused me to lose my child cause she didn't check to see if maybe I was having a tubal pregnancy
