Dr. Marquardt delivered my first baby at 36.5 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. I had a very rough pregnancy with terrible morning sickness, followed by 3 weeks of Bell's Palsy and pre-e. Through Dr. Marquardt, I was able to get an immediate appointment with a neurologist for the Bell's Palsy. I also saw Dr. Marquardt for my prenatal care during my second pregnancy. I am hypothyroid and it's impossible to get an appointment with a good endocrinologist in my area. She was able to get me scheduled with a very reputable endocrinologist as soon as I found out that I was expecting. Since I had no major complications during this pregnancy, I asked her if I could attempt a VBAC. She was extremely supportive and allowed me to go into spontaneous labor on my own at 41 weeks. Most OB's would prefer to do a repeat C-section by 39 weeks, but Dr. Marquardt wholeheartedly supported me through the process.
