Summary
My clinical approach is based in cognitive behavior therapy, thus focusing on replacing harmful belief systems with truthful belief systems that will allow you to heal and grow. However, the theories I use are eclectic because each person needs an individualized approach.
I have a particular heart to restore and improve marriages, recognizing the value of the family system in our society. This is done by connecting spouses with positive input, rather than focusing on problems, as well as teaching tools and skills to maintain a healthy marriage. In addition, I counsel adults 26 and older with a variety of needs, including, grief, anxiety, time management, problem solving, stress, conflict resolution, trauma, and financial management.
I have received a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development and am licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide counseling services to adults.
