Dr. Evelyn Diane Jackson, MD

My endocrinologist recommended Dr Jackson many years ago when I needed a new primary care doctor and I've been seeing her ever since. She is wonderful! She always has time for my questions and concerns, and I trust her expertise. Her nurse and receptionist are great, too.

Dr. Jackson is lacking in compassion (especially when I needed her most) and that is not the type of doctor I want for a primary care physician. Her receptionist is also often rude. I don’t recommend Dr. Jackson as a doctor. I’m much happier with a different primary care physician now, who treats me with respect and compassion and is also knowledgeable and helpful and is not dismissive of patients. I wish I would have switched to another doctor much earlier.

My wife and I have been Dr. Jackson’s patient for the past 15 years. She is an excellent, very knowledgeable, thoughtful, wonderful physician and we are all very fortunate to have Dr. Jackson as our primary care doctor. The staff is very helpful and excellent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jackson for many years. I will start with stating the obvious---when you go to her office, you will have to wait! That happens with all doctors at all times in all places. However, she is different. She runs late because she takes her time with every patient. When you are with her, she sits down to talk to you. You never get the impression that she is rushing you. Even though you know that she has a packed waiting room of people behind you, she gives you all the time you need. Secondly, she is the epitome of patient-centeredness. She listens carefully to your concerns, gives you her professional judgement and works with you on a treatment plan that is both medically sound and is acceptable to the patient. Thirdly, her staff are kind and caring, just like her. Last, but not least, she is a solo practitioner and so you will always see her--no surprises when you get there.

You never feel rushed or "pushed" into agreeing with any diagnosis or recommendation. I recommend Dr. Jackson to EVERYONE!!

Only two visits (one for a physical) but each one perfect. Nurse give great shots. Physical exam was through and Dr. Jackson takes her time with you. She is like the family doctor we grew up with and wish there were more of.
