Dr. Evelyn Lilly

I was shocked to see any negative reviews as I’ve seen Dr. Lilly for a few years now and think she is great. I find her very personable and willing to answer any questions. If you’ve been to MGH you know how busy the place is so appointments can be brief in any department. My initial visit with her was probably longer than allowed but I left feeling like I found a great doctor!

This "doctor" (yes, not sure how she even got this title and can work at that hospital!) is horrible! 1) She does NOT listens to you, 2) she MAKES UP diagnosis WITHOUT listening to the story, 3) she INSISTS on her "HYPOTHETICAL" story, 4) she pretty much doesn't even touch you and check thoroughly, 5) ZERO physician manners, 6) she is extremely ARROGANT, 7) her notes are as LAZY as her - only 3 SENTENCES!! You've got to be kidding me! There is much more! DEFINITELY go elsewhere! This woman does NOT deserve to be, and must be forbidden to serve as a physician and to treat ANY patient!

When I went for my appointment with Dr. Lilly, I found her brusque. She did not ask enough questions to form what I would consider an informed opinion, and was disinclined to perform the diagnostics I felt would be necessary to rule out several possible diagnoses. That fact that she works at MGH really surprised me with the poor service I felt I received and incredibly short shrift and overall poor bedside manner. I would not recognize her to be seen by ANY patient based on the above reasons, and I have serious concerns going forward. I will be in touch with the hospital ombudsman to register a complaint.

I waited 2 months for an appointment with Dr. Lily, only for her to sit down with me for less than 5 minutes and tell me there is nothing she could do. No motivation to care, no willingness to have a conversation, no people skills. Go somewhere else!

Dr. Evelyn Lilly, Dermatologist, performed procedures on me in her office without advising me that the procedures could be costs above and beyond the office visit. She did not ask if she should perform the procedures or advise what the cost would be. It is her responsibility to advise the patient and not just be concerned about generating revenue for Partners Health Care. I have had this procedure performed by other Dermatologists and NEVER been billed separately. She is more interested in generating revenue than her patients. Find another Dermatologist.

What Dr Lilly said was a "cyst", was a sclerosed basal cell carcinoma. It required extensive Moh's surgery. Highly DO NOT recommend her

I saw Dr. Lilly in February 2017. I have a history of squamous cell skin cancer as well as breast cancer. Dr. Lilly was extremely rushed. She would not listen to my concerns. She clearly was in a hurry. I brought an area of concern on my left cheek. She said it was a "cyst" and left. The visit ended on that note. I sought a second opinion upon the advice of my Primary Physician. The "cyst" was a sclerosed basal cell carcinoma. I recently had extensive Moh's surgery. The cancer was very deep. The surgeon was concerned about nerve damage. The incision is from my outer left eye to mid cheek. Obviously I would advise against seeing Dr. Lilly.
