Dr. Evelyn Y Maruko, DDS

Dr. Maruko is doing a great job with my complex case. I had braces as a child, and am amazed how much treatments have advanced. My treatment should take a total of two years. I was quoted the same amount of time elsewhere. Dr. Maruko is very detailed oriented and she holds her staff to a high standard. She is a talented doctor who takes her profession seriously. I hesitated getting braces again as an adult, especially because I wear a night guard. Dr. Maruko made it possible for me to wear the night guard simultaneously. I'm looking forward to a wonderful result!

Dr. Maruko did a satisfactory job and her office is nice. However, she treats patients in a condescending and outright rude manner when she disagrees with them or if they question her. I was warned by several people that she wasn't kind, but she was great at the consultation and she was conveniently located. I should have listened to the warnings. Our experience was unpleasant. We switched orthodontists and realized that being kind and approachable isn't too much to ask for. Dealing with the new orthodontist made us realize just how poor Dr. Maruko's treatment was.
