Dr. Evelyn Arias Rubin, DO

Dr. Rubin was my husband's doctor for several years. In 2011 he went to her for a bad cough. She would not x-ray his lungs. After awhile, he just bought over the counter meds. In 2012, after returning from AZ, his cough was much worst. He again went to Dr. Rubin. She said that he had a sinus condition and gave him nose spray, he went again, she said it was a problem with his throat. He asked for a referral to a ENT doctor. Before he could get an appointment, he was coughing up blood. When he went for another appointment, she was out of town so he saw Dr. Lin who immediately had an x-ray of his lung. My husband had stage 3 lung cancer. After months of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery to remove 2 lobes of his right lung, he did not have cancer until another spot showed up on his left lung in Oct. 2014. He again had chemo and was having 5 radiation treatments on the tumor when he died suddenly from a blood clot in 2015.. Dr. Rubin is no longer in Richland, WA, she is now in Tacoma. This… doctor does not listen to her patients. She could have found the tumor early if she had done an x-ray in 2011.

Watch out for this doctor. If she has the slightest idea that you are not Happy to see her, that you are there because you feel obliged to see a doctor, she will drop you like a hot potato.

I feel comfortable as a patient. She makes you feel at ease and she is a great lady with a gentle touch.
