Was forced to go to Madden by University of Chicago Hospital for a prank l played on my wife. Brought me here on Sunday night, stripped naked, and gave me a gown with no undies. Put me in a room with two other dudes, one (RICHARD) was Schizophrenic, and couldn’t sleep at all because of how crazy he was acting. Stayed here a whole week begging my social worker to let me go because l had a new job and wife at home. Social workers are very short with you, have no respect for you as a human being, no one to advocate for you, l literally had to go out of my way to convince them l a sane. Was FINALLY released on Friday, after that long week, and wouldn’t even send my dead dog here. TERRIBLE PLACE

So I was forced to go there by Palos hospital, they place is filthy and none of the staff seem to know the answers to your questions, they don’t understand that upon arriving there that were scared and we need answers. I was kept there for 7 days without a legitimate reason why. It seems like the Drs go out of there way to ignore you. It’s sad. Make sure you sign your 5 day because the staff won’t even tell you about it, I found out from the other patients. They integrate regular people in with people who have serious issues in the 7 days I was there I seen about 6 fights almost one a day, and the staff allowed the fight to go on for what seemed like forever a man was beating on a pregnant woman and they still allowed him to leave the next day. Don’t get me wrong some of the workers there are super cool and nice 👍🏼

I took my fiancé to a hospital and they took him to this place . I been trying to get him out and they arent letting me get no information to me or his mother even though he gave consent !! Theyre holding him against his will and will not release him. his doctor even said he was alright to leave but this place took him ! how can i get him out!!

After reading all reviews online, I was very concerned about my son, going to this facility for treatment. Instead, I was very positive surprised, when I went to visit my son. Everyone working there are super nice, from the guards to the doctors. I believe, that people working in this place, are very dedicated to the patients. I am very grateful to everyone there for taking good care of my son.

Staff drs., intake and social workers could care.less about the patients. This is just a paycheck to them. They don't follow up on their patients either, not even a letter. Very very bad and dangerous place to be in and filthy. I am a parent of an ex adult patient diagnosed with pzchizophrenia and he is on a downward spiral again due to not getting medication. He is 30+ years old. I can only intervene if he.tries to hurt himself and they provide no information
