Doctor does not listen to patients needs and was unprofessional- when she doesn’t agree with you she sends you elsewhere and claims what you need is out of her practice. I made an appointment with Marshall Medical in Placerville. I was extremely clear that I would like to have a hormone panel done, as my hormones and metabolism have been way off since having nexplanon inserted by this facility. I had very clear and serious side effects from this birth control that could have caused me to lose my life. I was hospitalized multiple times and very sick I had chest pain DAILY. This doctor told me my side effects couldn’t be caused by nexplanon. These are all side effects listed in black and white on nexplanons website) since removal they have subsided) she clearly has NO knowledge and does not listen to her patients. She sent me for a thyroid test which I had less than a year ago at her facility with another doctor and when that came back negative tried sending me for diabetes testing...I… explained to her that I had to take time off of work and did not want to keep going back and forth and I would like to have the hormone panel done at the same time. She then cancelled tHe test and said that it is out of her “practice”. She also did an “exam” unnecessarily when I have already had my routine exam and invited another nurse in without consent
