Dr. Evin Koleini, MD

Dr. Koleini’s medical journey began in Buffalo, NY where he was raised and first got direct exposure to medicine through family and friends. He grew up as an avid ice hockey player and took his skills to playing in college at Tufts University in Boston, MA where he played on the Division III NESCAC hockey team while completing a bachelors degree in biomedical science. Afterwards, he completed his medical school at St George’s University in Grenada where he developed a passion for physiology and pharmacology. His residency training began in 2018 with an internship in general surgery followed by Anesthesiology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. During his residency, he had the opportunity to be involved in research in interventional pain management which drew him to completing an Interventional Pain Management fellowship at JR Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. During his free time, Dr. Koleini enjoys traveling with friends and family, cooking, …snowboarding, and ice hockey.
