Dr. Evlyn Brown, MD

Dr. Brown is amazing but she will loose lots of patients because of her front office staff. They NEVER call back, it’s almost impossible to get them on the line and they don’t show any interest in what you’re saying to them when you’re at the office. It seems like they’re only there for a paycheck. What a shame because she’s a great Doctor. Please Dr. Brown change your office staff STAT!

i like doctor BROWN but office staff is horrible. You call sick and they give you like week after appointment. i feel so much pain in my knee, they gave me a month later appointment. my pain is getting severe and some times feels like my knee will break into pieces. I am seriously thinking of changing the doctor.

Dr. Brown was personable but in order to see the doctor, you have to go through the office staff.The office staff were inconsiderate and inept. The phones were not answered in a timely manner, I was put on terminal hold and I had not ever received a call back when leaving a message. My lab results were not made available to me after four weeks of calling and messaging through their APP. When I finally showed up at the office to insist my results be shared with me, I was informed by the Dr. that the requested tests were not run, she has no say over who works in her office. I was kept waiting at check out until the phones were answered and the incoming patients were checked in. One of the staff members had her baby with her at the desk in a stroller. It was horrible. I would never recommend this office.

She is very down to earth and tells you straight. I love that! Very friendly doctor and staff.

"I miss 'my' Dr. E. Brown"...should be the title of a book! However, that being said Dr. Brown was my primary are physician during the time she practiced here in Jacksonville, NC. She was very professional, prompt and always treated me with dignity and respect. She ensure that I was always seen, and if rescheduling of an appointment needed to be done, rarely if done so, she would apologize offer an explanation for the rescheduling of an appointment. She ensured I had my yearly physical, and kept track of all of my medications. Very rarely did she not greet you with a very warm and pleasant smile followed by a even warmer hello. Bottom line, she made going to the doctor a pleasure-able experience more so than a necessary task. People such as Dr. Brown are very hard to replace. I did not rate "bedside manner" as I never had occasion for her to visit me in the hospital. God bless you Dr. Brown.

Dr.Brown was my first doctor and she did an exceptional job. I am now 19 years old and in college pursuing a career in medicine. She inspired me to help people through medicine. She was down to earth, caring, and great at her job. :)

Overall expression of this doctor is low. My wife went in for severe head aches, throat pain, and nausea. Dr. Brown did the basic routine of checking her ears, mouth, and lungs. once completed she tried to give my wife medicine for the head aches, but failed to read my wifes information in regards to her breast feeding my 7 month old daughter. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for her to consult her book to come tell us to come back in two weeks for a check up. She recommended to my wife to continue to take the extra strength tylonol. This is why we came and saw her was because the medicine was not working. I'm just an ordinary person trying to go see the professionals to get my wife feeling better, not to (in my opinion) be untreated and my military health insurance be abused for someone's practice. I guess this what you may expect living in a military community.

The best medical doctor I ever had.. down to earth caring understanding and compassionate. I miss her... trying to find her don't know if she is still in ny..
