Dr. Ezell Askew, MD

After well over five years of serious swelling and nonhealing ulcers involving my lower legs, I found Dr. Askew. The venous stents he placed (themselves a fairly new medical procedure) have allowed me to live without the serious leg edema, and allowed for more adequate circulation. His wonderful knowledge and skill together with that of my surgeon, Dr. K.Hilton has saved my keg from amputation. I have been referred for Amputation of my left leg three times in the past two years. Dr. Askew is extremely intelligent, highly qualified, personable, and kind. I was referred to Dr. Askew for a swollen left foot and numbness in my toes. There was no pain involved. After 2 blocks and an external iliac vein shunt, I was to go for my 3rd block and later that week he was to do a shunt on my right iliac vein. I had some unexplained pain and when he didn't speak with me before the procedure, I asked him about it before he started the block. He asked me if I had pain when I came in and I told him no and at that point, he stopped talking to me and cancelled both the block and the shunt. When I tried to ask him why, he told me it was my age and weight and just walked out. The procedures that he did went okay, but I would not go back to him if he were the only physician available for anything.

He has helped, and continue treat multiple conditions over the past several years. Providing pain relief without major surgery. Great staff as well.

I have seen him in the past and had excellent results. Tomorrow I will be making another appointment with him. I would recommend him to anyone wgo has chronic pain. You will get help and be very greatful & thankful.

I have had constant moderate to severe back pain from bulging disc and degenerative changes in my spine for 55 years. Dr Askew is the first Doctor who has helped me be pain free without drugs. I wish I would have found him long ago. Thank you Dr Askew!
