Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Escobar Wellness and Psychiatry, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care through secure telehealth.

I currently serve patients in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Washington, and Delaware. I treat a wide range of mental health conditions across these states, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders (PTSD/C-PTSD), bipolar disorder, mood disorders, and ADHD.

Due to state-specific regulations, stimulant medications for ADHD are prescribed only for patients located in Texas, but I am able to provide full psychiatric evaluation, therapy-informed care, and non-stimulant ADHD treatment in all of the states I serve.

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and personalized. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Many people come to me after feeling rushed, unheard, …or over-medicated, and I take the time to understand the full picture—your symptoms, your goals, and how your mental health affects your work, family, and daily life.

Medication can be a powerful tool when used carefully and strategically. I focus on finding the right medication, at the right dose, with close attention to side effects, long-term safety, and how you actually feel and function—not just what a checklist says

I also integrate supportive psychotherapy into every visit, helping patients build insight, emotional regulation, and coping skills alongside medication management.

I’m especially passionate about improving access to care for underserved and bilingual communities. I provide care in both English and Spanish, and I work to make mental health treatment feel respectful, culturally attuned, and stigma-free.

As a husband and father, I understand how much mental health impacts families, relationships, and careers. My goal is always to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly listened to as we work together toward lasting stability and wellness.
