Dr. Fabian Alberto Vengoechea, MD

I’m a 3 1/2 year patient being treated by a physician Dr. Vengoechea, who not only is brilliant on paper, but whose approach to treating patients with addiction/s and often some form of mental illness is superior on so many levels! I immediately asked the Dr. upon my first visit, “You have rocket science credentials and feasibly could practice anywhere. What are you doing treating mostly poor, undereducated minorities in this somewhat scary neighborhood?” Without hesitation, looking directly in my eyes responded “poor people deserve quality healthcare too.” The dedication Dr. V. possesses for his often forgotten population of patients, makes me want to be a better person! Thank you Dr. V. Gracias por su dedicación!

Dr Kate is by far the best doctor I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. Shes super attentive to your needs and down to earth. She listens and she cares. Easy to relate with and talk to about anything. I truly believe she would go above and beyond for any patient. She really trying to make the world a better place and I have no hesitation stating she puts everything into her practices. Would totally recommend her to anyone with any health issue they are uncomfortable discussing. If I could give more stars I would!!

Very caring, good bedside manner, took the time to explain my fathers illness when he was in the ICU at Jeans Hospital. He was very sick, and he and the nurses were excellent there.
