Dr. Michelassi is an extraordinary, world class physician. Anyone who needs his care would be lucky to have him. I know I was.

Back in 2002 my mother, Juanita, was sent to University of Chicago for Dr. Michelassi to perform her colon surgery. His procedure would not require her to wear a colostomy bag. She did so well living up to 102 years of age. It was her heart not a cancer that brought her life to its end. Thank you Dr. Michelassi for giving us so much time with our mother. God Bless You! Dr. Michaelassi was my surgeon in 1997 when he was at the University of Chicago. I will never forget this man, beyond his medcal expertise, he is a most kind and compassionate human being and has incredible patience. He saved my life. He is truly gifted by God.

it is a little difficult getting an appointment, which is understandable due to all of the demands on his time, but he is such a wonderful confident, down to earth person!! He knows what he is talking about and he is bedside manner is great!!!
