Dr. Fadi Deeb

This was the worst experience I think that I’ve had in the medical field, including being a nurse for 8 years and a person diagnosed with a chronic disease for a year and a half. Everything was all set to go for scheduling my appointment until I asked the scheduler if I should have my former GI office fax over my medical record, and last colonoscopy results. Her tone quickly changed, and she asked me when I had my last colonoscopy. When I told her, she then said that she’d have to check with the doctor to see if he was “okay“ with seeing me. She called me the next day, and told me that she was canceling my appointment, and that Dr. Deeb would not be seeing me. This doctor denied me care because he simply didn’t want to be a “second opinion.” I explained to the appointment scheduler that he wasn’t a second opinion, and that I needed a new GI doctor because my insurance changed and that my current GI doctor was not covered by it. I explained to her that I’m pregnant and am in need of… help with my GI disease. She said that she was so sorry and “embarrassed” and that she didn’t know what else to say. Clearly I wasn’t the only one to think that this type of treatment was in unethical; even his own staff find it cruel. I honestly believe that he didn’t want to see me because he wouldn’t make as much money off of me since I had recently had a colonoscopy. Who refuses to see a chronically ill person, who is pregnant as well? Do not support this practice. The nutrition group who previously referred me to Dr. Deeb has decided not to refer any more patients to him because of his treatment, or lack there of, towards me.

Did not have good patient care and did not provide answers or resources to help. Feel not a knowledgeable doctor. Highly suggest not seeing this doctor.

Made my mom (who drove 2 hrs to see him) wait 40 minutes, had no idea what she was there for, spent 3 minutes total in the room and walked out. Then for her surgery he was 2 hrs late. He walks in before the surgery, doesn’t even look at us, says it’s like playing a video game and walks out. She survived (Thank God!) but he gave absolutely no indications that we mattered or that he would be good at what he does. He clearly hated us and I have no idea why because he spent less than 5 minutes total in one room with us. And while his staff is nice they are the most incompetent staff I have ever come across. I have worked in healthcare for almost 20 yrs and have never felt the need to write a review on a physician or his office but these people are awful.

I was fortunate to be treated by Dr. Deeb, first in the ER at TMC and then as an outpatient. Like a detective, he narrowed down the diagnosis...and found and fixed my serious problem. A very nice person.

I had been having stomach issues for quite some time and was referred to Dr Deeb by the emergency room. I was pleasantly surprised with Dr Deeb's professionalism. He took my concerns seriously and ordered several tests and a procedure. He found what was wrong and promptly treated me. I will definitely go back to him for any future needs.

I was admitted to TMC for a cardiac issue. Ischemic colitis reared its ugly head during the hospitalization. Dr. Deeb was very thorough in his explanation of this disease, how it developed and how to treat it. He completed his rounds every day around 5pm and let me know just what to expect. I am grateful for his expertise.

Wonder if he really is a medical doctor. Really uninterested in helping me understand or treat my colitis and not responsive to questions. Late for a golf date?

I WILL REMEMBER DR. DEEB FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. HE WILL BE MY FUTURE COLONOSCOPIST.

I didn't have a problem w/ Dr. Deeb, it was the staff. Very rude people. Dr. Deeb wanted my elderly mother to have a colonoscopy done annually because she had a cancerous tumor in her colon that was removed. Medicare told me they would not pay without a doctor's explanation. I called to find out about this and the staff was rude, acted like I was bothering them. They told me they would get back to me after talking to Dr. Deeb. I don't think they ever spoke to him regarding my situation. I called several times, they never called back until I finally gave up.
