Dr. Fadi A Matar, MD

He did a cardiac cath with a back up pump on my father this month and my father experienced Constant chest pain for two days after the procedure followed by worsening of angina by at least 30%. He never communicated with my father after the procedure and never even followed up with him. My father‘s primary cardiologist did not receive any follow up communication from Dr. Matar for at least three weeks until he demanded it

Callous and arrogant...Do not expect sympathy!

I've been a patient of Dr.Matar for over 13 years. I have found him as one of the best cardio doctors in the entire Tampa Bay area due to his ability to correct t what problems you have with your heart. His approach and the way he attempts to make you understand your problems and attempt to correct same. His approach is being kind and understanding makes him a hero in my book.

Dr. Matar is friendly, has excellent bedside manners, spends time with patients, and takes the time to listen and answer concerns. He adds humor when necessary and at all times, he is respectful and concerned. Lisa, his assistant, is missed. She was kind, competent, friendly and compassionate and worked well with the doctor's schedule.

He saved my mom's life. Bed side manner is awesome. He spoke to my mom in plan English not like she was another doctor so she understood what was going on. My mom took the necessary measures with her as she is a Jehovah Witnesses and respect her rights. I was with my mom at her doctor's appointment is how I know first hand of this doctor and was there when he at the hospital with her.

This was my first time seeing a Cardiologist for some heart palpitations I've been having. Dr. Matar was fantastic! He was very reassuring when I expressed my concerns and he really listened to me. I was really happy with the amount of time he spent asking me questions and when I told him how worried I was he was very caring and concerned. I went to him partly because my primary acted like the palpitations and arrhythmias weren't a big deal and wrote me off; thankfully, Dr. Matar was the complete opposite! I would definitely recommend going.

I was admitted as a heart attack patient. He saved my life. No better recommendation possible.
