Dr. Fady F Jabre, MD

Not caring or friendly. He took very little time with me so I felt unimportant. Made decisions without explanations or including me in my treatment plan. Do not recommend.

Was told by my client who had seen him in an ER visit that him and his nurses were some of the worst medical professionals that they had ever met, this was backed up by 2 other people who had been in attendance with my client and who attest to how awful his bed side manner was and was dismissive of my client's preferences for a female doctor, and as well didn't take the complaints of why she went to see him seriously and let her go home with no treatment.

Several years ago, I had an eye injury that was causing excruciating pain. Several times during my ER visit, Dr. Jabre used an instrument to observe my eye, touching my eyeball with the instrument. When I refused to allow him to do this on his final attempt, he called in another ER doctor who said the instrument was not actually suppose to touch the eye. He caused me a lot of additional and unnecessary pain. A few nights ago, I took my son to the ER as he was experiencing several symptoms of influenza and Covid. They said they couldn't see him at Urgent Care because he had fainted and hit his head. Dr. Fabre did a throat swab (I'm assuming to test for strep) and carried the swab around the room and into another patient's partitioned area before placing in a sterile container. He then ordered an EKG. When I told him we didn't want an EKG, that he needed tested for influenza and Covid, he became argumentative and refused those tests. We declined the EKG and attempted to leave. He… stopped my son, who is almost 2 feet taller than the doctor, and told him he was old enough to make his own decision. We actually attempted to leave once we got the text that he had been assigned as our doctor. Going forward I will check to see who the ER doctors are before signing in. If he is on staff, we will head to Mercy. Truly one of the most unprofessional ER doctors I have ever encountered.

Came with severe tooth pain I dont have the best teeth that my fault I understand but then to take a wooden swap a poke the 2 teeth that hurt the worst a asks does it hurt.gave me a toridal shot a penicillin shot a told me to take ibuprofen.i asked for anything stronger since I've been taking ibeprofin a he got defensive a rude.so here I lay at home no better then when i went.i understand the chriss going on but help the one that need it.wont go back because of him.told him i was still in bad pain a sent me out the door

Last night I had to be taken to the St Luke's hospital because I passed out and became unresponsive. My boyfriends mom is a nurse and noticed my O2 was low and I was having apneic spells. She ask for a doctor or nurse several times and didn't get one for 15 minutes the nurse came and shut the monitor off and told her the monitor was wrong and apparently didn't even assess me. I had no IV or fluids going and when this retard of a doctor came limping in he ordered labs and that took 3 hours to come back with results during this time I came around and had to pee my boyfriend went with me incase I became dizzy I could not pee after trying for 15 mins I got some output, on the way back to bed I passed out again and no my boyfriend and his mom screamed for help and 5 mins later a couple nurses came through me back on the cot and walked out. After several minutes I came too again and Dr.Jabra came in and told me my labs were fine so I was fine. He refused to do any scans and then began to… argue with me and Wade. I still don't know what is wrong with me. But I do know this, Dr.Jabre is a stupid limping retard that has no right to be a doctor, has horrible manners and I you're rating as a one star is a generous star you idiot.

Recently my partner broke her ankle and we went to STL ed. The staff was amazing. When Dr. Jabre came in he shook everyones hand like we were people too, he took such good care of my partner. This Dr. is an amazing, smart, caring, Dr. He could have worked anywhere in the US and I know this for a fact, and he choose to help us in Sioux City. I thank him from the bottom of my heart. For all of you who rate the time, he is an ER dr. If someone comes in very critical they SHOULD be treated before your cold. ERs in other part of the US have wait times over 8 hours. This man works himself to make sure he gets everyone seen in a timely manner. Sometimes he has so many critical people who are actually dying before his eyes that has to take the time to do their orders first. This is not a family dr that you can make an appt with.
