Dr. Fahd Saeed, MD

Dr. Saeed who now works in Fishers, IN can diagnose you without asking about symptoms or talking to or examining the patient. Diagnosis you with an illness/disease you can't test for, but doesn't run any tests to rule out other possibilities. Doesnt go over sypmtoms or concerns. Just assumes and tells you that you arn't getting worse since he says so and not because he asked you. Overall his attitude says he doesn't care. He even slouches in his chair and reads off the internet. Literally pulled up a website on fibromyalgia and tried to convince me that is what I likely had because my lab tests other doctors ran have been negative. He even highlights words for you on the screen and everything. Dr. Saeed is quick to say it isn't his field of study even though autoimmune diseases can cause symptoms and can affect multiple systems. The very symptoms and systems I was complaining about. Didn't bother to learn something is wrong with my immune system and that I keep getting sick every 2 to… 3 weeks. He could have learned about my butterfly rash on my face had he given me the chance to talk about symptoms and problems I have been having. Just looked at lab tests other doctors ordered and glimpsed through the paperwork they had me fill out and bam he knew all about my illness. Half my symptoms weren't even options on the paperwork to talk about. Funny thing I know what fibromyalgia is and that nothing I am complaining about except fatigue fits that diagnosis. Try again doctor. Fibromyalgia doesn't cause people to pass out from virtigo and extreme pain attacks nor does it say anything about chronic illness suggestive of immune problems. The very reason I got referred to an auto immune specialist. The two positives from the visit: staff was nice and organized and when I asked for a neuro referral to look at the neurological aspects of my illness to rule out neuro he said he would refer me to one. Go to a different doctor! One that cares enough to review symptoms, pain and concerns.

The first time I saw Dr. Saeed I wasn't sure about him probably due to several bad experiences with other Ft Wayne doctors. When I went the second time and he went over my labs and xrays my husband and I were both very impressed with the thoroughness of his explanations, his plan for my care, his attention, and his confidence that I will continue to do well on the regimen I have been on for several years started in another state. Since the doctors have to spend so much time on the computers during each patients visit he expressed regret that he was not always able to keep eye contact with me while talking about my several conditions. His staff is wonderful. He speaks English very well and I have a difficult time even with southern accents! Good job Dr Saeed and staff!!

Dr. Saeed is very thorough. As someone else stated, he doesn't dismiss your symptoms as just being anxiety. A nurse practitioner I saw before him dismissed my concerning symptoms as anxiety because I'm young. Obviously anxiety was not the case. He also took the time to go over my lab results and explained them in much more depth than the NP's office did. He ordered a wide range of labs for me, which I appreciated because it will help expedite diagnosing my autoimmune disease. He does have an accent, but there was only one moment when I was unsure of what he said. I know some people avoid doctors with foreign accents, but in my opinion his isn't a problem. Also, the staff I encountered were very pleasant and warm.

Dr. that doesn't care about your condition, symptoms or follow-up. He does not call with test results. He does not communicate with your other doctors. He is as nonchalant and uncaring as they come. I will be driving 3 hours to another doctor rather than see Saeed again.

He is knowledgeable about rhumatological diseases and how they relate to other systemic symptoms as well as medication side effects. He doesnt make you feel rushed, and does not blow you off as an anxiety case or a generic fibromyalgia case, because he thoroughly tests for different conditions, not just the basic RH & ANA screen. He is the 4th & best Rhumatologist I have seen in this town. BONUS: His office area is super easy to find & has low traffic & no long walks through hospitals.

I have been seeing Dr. Saeed for about a year, I have never had a problem. When I have had an issue and called his staff was very helpful and are always willing to accommidate and help me in any way possible. I am thankful to finally have found a Dr who knows my problem and works with me to help. Great Doctor!!! AWESOME staff!
