Dr. Fairouz Ali, MD

Dr. Ali goes above and beyond in patient care. Her clinical knowledge is excellent; as evidenced in diagnosis, thorough discussions on medication options and their potential side effects and her transparency during the treatment process. Her approach in therapy is extremely helpful. She has opened a path for me to be at peace.

I was with this doctor for a year and a half. There are good things and not so good things to keep in mind if you’re considering this doctor. If you can get past her cancelling appointments repeatedly by text messaging you the night before at 10pm or even later, then you might be ok. If you can get past her putting you on the spot and having a student observer in office already present when you arrive and asking you on the spot if you’re ok with it, then you might be ok. If you’re ok with her prescribing a medication for you but then having to go back and forth through messages just to convince her to give you extended release due to GI side effects, then you might be ok. I really want to say that she’s a good doctor, but some of these things felt a bit like taking advantage of her patient’s patience and vulnerability and need, on top of being somewhat unprofessional.
