Dr. Faizi Ahmad Siddiqi, MD

Our pediatrician noted that our 7 mo. old daughter's skull was borderline for needing a helmet for flat skull. Dr Siddiqi was recommended to us for an evaluation. We were in the office for 25 minutes, then Dr Siddiqi came in and spent 1 minute with us, telling us she should have had a helmet at 3 mo. but not to worry as she was a girl and could grow her hair long. I left the appointment in shock at what had happened. I guess I am naive (first child) but I was not prepared to encounter blatant gender bias from a medical professional in regards to my daughter.

Dr. Siddiqi was a wonderful surgeon to our son who had two surgeries on his skull for craniosynostosis. He was so good at explaining my son's condition in a way that was easy to understand, being completely honest, and preparing us emotionally for the surgery. He has such a kind spirit and seems to really care for the kids he works with. Both surgeries went smoothly and he recovered quickly and is doing well.
