Dr. Fang Sarah Ko, MD

First Visit to see Dr. Ko and we too, will not be returning. The office felt like a 3rd world country doctor's office! Granted this office is not their main office and is in Quincy. Regardless, the entire visit was just awful! Dr. Ko was treated like we were objects, not people. No matter how good of a doctor she is, her office and treatment are unacceptable.

This was my first visit, and I will not be returning. Dr. Ko was two hours behind schedule; she entered the exam room and did not introduce herself nor did she apologize. It was clear that she had not looked at my medical records transferred in from my former physician in another state. Her scribe made a number of errors in front of me which Dr. Ko corrected. I learned the next day only one month’s supply of Rx eyedrops were ordered. Instead of addressing my chronic eye condition, Dr. Ko advocated the removal of cataracts and gave more of a sales pitch than a medical opinion. I will seek a second opinion on this not by a colleague in her mammoth practice, but by another practice. The office is larger than some airline terminals. There are at least 50 employees. I found it impersonal and corporate. There are better places in northern Florida to seek help for issues related to one’s precious eyesight. The receptionist was kind enough to give me a transfer of records form (per… my request) before I walked out their door forever. I have experience in practice management, and this is not where I want to be treated. On paper Dr. Ko has the top credentials in her field, but my encounter with her was far from satisfactory.

Inattentive and dismissive. Makes quick "diagnosis" without a proper evaluation. Be sure to get a second opinion.
