Dr. Fanny Jove Berg, MD

Dr. Berg is able to spot the tiniest thing from across the room. I like her no-nonsense manner and whole patient/scenario approach to consultations. Only downside of visit is long wait, but this can be off-set by coordinating a visit to her medical aesthetician.

Went to Dr. Berg for a routine skin check-up for any signs of skin cancer, etc., to have some mild milia on my face looked at, and to have a few small skin tags removed. After explaining my history of breast cancer with radiation, I would think she would do a thorough scan over my skin. She barely looked at my arms and started talking about my hair and how she thought it was thinning. She did not remove any of the 3 small, skin tags I was there to have removed, and told me I "couldn't afford" her to have her do treatment for the mild milia on my face, but that her Aesthetician would be more appropriate for me. Who says that to a patient? She honed in on my hair saying she noticed it was thinning and could do treatments injecting blood to help get some thickness back before it was 'too late". I wasn't even there to talk about hair loss and left feeling worried about my hair!!! She sold me an expensive face product on the way out, which did not even help. Basically, I didn't… accomplish anything I wanted to at the appointment. I stood at the counter to pay for my $30 face wash for 15 mins while the receptionist wrapped up a personal call. I left feeling annoyed, disappointed, and frankly, angry with myself that I didn't go back to the doctor I used the year before.

The doctor is always in with her. She takes care of whatever you have going on . I admire her experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Berg for about 18 years or longer and I like her. It's not a personality contest and I find her very honest and knowledgeable and I have never felt rushed. I think it is more of a personal preference.

I went for something simple, but waited over an hour for a 5 minute visit. Her nurse was very nice, but this doctor has a nasty attitude. I would never go back.

I took my teenage son to Dr. Berg for treatment. We had to wait at least an hour for each visit. Dr. Berg rushed through visit the and sold us a skin care line sold at her office. On top of all this, the office staff is rude. I don't see why she is so highly recommended.

I wanted my skin checked for potential melanoma. I waited a long time to be seen and she looked me over for maybe five minutes tops. Then tried to sell me a $300 skin care line. I will never go to her again.

Having been treated like a nuisance and idiot (after being kept waiting for a very, very long time) when referred to Dr Berg's office for a previous problem, I specifically asked my doctor to refer me to ANYONE else for a new issue. She nodded and said "I hear that a lot." 'Nuff said!

Missed importsnt stuff until i asked about it on a later visit. Waiting room is so full and practice is so overbooked or disorganized that the wait is always at least an hour and the office policies are too rigid to allow you to leave and come back. It doesnt matter that Dr. Berg can be a good doctor. She runs a bad practice.
