Dr. Mahmood is undoubtedly one of the best doctors I have had so far; her staff are also amazing and very professional. She is very methodical, patient, and an amazing diagnostician. Her personality and bed-side manner are also phenomenal. During the visit, she takes her time to listed to the patient's problem, to thoroughly examine you, and explain to you patiently what her thoughts and diagnosis are, and how she plans to manage the condition. I have literally gone through 3 other Rheumatologists to treat my Ankylosing Spondylitis, a genetic form of Auto Immune Arthritis of the Spine. Dr. Mahmood was the one and only Specialist to take this serious disease seriously and methodically in finding the right treatment to stop the progress of "AS". She has been attentive and caring in every appointment I've had with her since I began in 2020. Once an appropriate Biologic Treatment was chosen, Dr. Mahmood and her office worked with the Pharmaceutical manufacturer to get financial support for the medication, since it is very expensive and I am on Social Security. I really don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found Dr. Farah Mahmood. One more thing, her office staff is the best, always able to help you and will respond to your questions often within the same day. This is in contrast to what so many other doctors have.
