Dr. Fardad Mobin, MD

My mother went here after a horrific car accident. This doctor told her that if she didn't have surgery then she would die. This was on her spine BTW which is a very risky surgery, common sense I would think. So since my mom was scared for her life and she's in this situation she went for the 1st surgery. She was in excruciating pain after she had time to heal. This doctor still asked her to come in for a second time for surgery, my mom went because again she's in excruciating pain and needs medical attention at this point. 5 years later she was still in excruciating pain and my mom decides to go to another doctor for a second opinion. This new doctor took x-rays and couldn't believe my mom had basically zip ties in her spine. She never needed surgery to begin with. Had she went to this new doctor first my mom would have just been in a neck brace for a few weeks and that's it. She never needed surgery and was never at risk of dying from her car accident. Also mind you Fardad Mobin… went in for surgery TWICE! My mom could have died from these surgerys this awful doctor did to her. Do not go to this doctor he has no idea what he's talking about and he's very unprofessional. Fardad Mobin's assistant Janette is very unprofessional, she claims they're so busy that she forgets to call patients back. I bet she knew her boss messed up and didn't want to call my mom back. This is very serious and not to be taken lightly. We are not going to stop til my mom gets justice!

Dr.Mobin, is a terrific Neurosurgeon with Excellent bed side manners. My Lumbar Revision Surgery with him went well. I think a lot of these patients don't do their own homework before seeing a Neurosurgeon? Excellent facility, friendly staff and you get out in a reasonable amount of time. He is an excellent Listener and focus and emphasis is always whats best for the patient. People expect Neurosurgeons to perform miracles, and ive seen a few myself; but practicing medicine is just that we go for the best possible outcome for the patient and that's it. Complainers get off the couch put up the oreos and get involved with your body and healthcare. Patients have a responsibility as well here. Cheers to Dr.Mobin, Best Neurosergeon in L.A.

I was treated very poor, and was told that if I came to the office to go over my bill, police would be called. I was amazed because I was over charged thousands of dollars and had the checks to prove. The surgery was improperly done as well, I need a more serious surgery because of the negligence of Mobin. SHAME ON YOU

he is doing it for the money

After waiting 2.5 hrs in a waiting area that reminded me of a fast food joint, I was finally seen by dr. Mobin. He had my MRI on a disk in his computer, yet when referring to which disks were bulging, he referred to the completely wrong disks! Not even addressing the one that was torn! The whole environment was the absolute definition of unprofessional ism!! I wouldn't even refer my worst eneny's dog to this guy! His website for this particular location, anyways, is completely false. I cannot emphasize enough how unprofessional this place is...I got the impression that since I wasn't 'workers comp' case I was very low priority.. God bless anyone who lets this guy so much as clip their toenails
