Dr. Fares Samih Hakim, MD

Dr Fares is not a reliable doctor, he perforated my colons during a colonoscopy and he did not have a courage to tell me he did so. I almost got killed. I underwent a major surgery for colon repair. I would not let any of my friends and family get any procedure done by him.

Kind, caring, compassionate, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, I asked many questions and some questions more than once and he never rushed me or was frustrated. I truly felt important as a person and patient. Highly recommend him.

Procedures were easy, thorough - recovery uneventful. Of course the prep for a colonoscopy is always unpleasant, but it is effective.

I have had an abdominal pain for 6 years and the only diagnosis the doctor was IBS. However, the pain is localized to the upper right quad under my rib cage and when I asked why the pain was only in one location I was told "I do not know" and he was out the door.

A friend at work recommended him, he had treated her grandma in the past. I have been suffering from ulcer that caused several Complications in the past. Long story short, he got under control and got other specialists involve to avoid further complications. He looks at the big picture and truly care for your well being if you know what I mean. Most Doctor I had seen in the past only focus on third area of expertise but DR Hakim focused on my over all health and well being. What a blessing to have a doctor like him in a small town like Pensacola.

Wonderful Doctor! I have seen him twice this year and I wish every doctor will take the time to actually listen to your needs like Dr. hakim does!! He then explains every step of the treatment/ meds etc... Absolutely wonderful.

I found Dr Hakim by accident but I am very glad I did! He treated my 7 years long symptoms in few weeks. He knows his stuff very well, I am forever thankful to him.

Great Doctor. he made sure I understand the process, he really exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous at first but his calmness and great bed side manner put me at ease.

Really surprised by the previous comments written by Mr & Mrs.P!! Because I have been seeing Dr.Hakim for the last 12 years! He diagnosed my complicated GI problem and have been my doctor ever since. He also treated several family members and friends over the years and they all rave about his professionalism and knowledge! His sense of urgency is rare to find even at his office staff! Surprised about the previous comment because he is very serious. it is hard to crack a smile out of him, but for sure I get the best attention and care everytime.
