Dr. Rastegar completed his undergraduate work at San Diego State University, and earned his doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tuffs University in 1993. Since 1993 he has been in private practice and was active in the Rotary and the La Jolla chamber of commerce. Through extensive ongoing continuous education, Dr. Rastegar remains at the forefront of dental advances.
In his free time he enjoys sailing, skiing, mountain climbing, and is learning to be a pilot. He is involved in many community activities and is currently writing a book titled “The Pathway to Life.â€
