Been seeing Dr Balaya for about 7 years now. Wouldn’t go to anyone else! He takes the time to explain everything and address any concerns. Sometimes the wait time is a little lengthy, but I’m not even mad because he’s that awesome!

great OB doctor, but be prepared to wait over an hour to see him!!!

I saw Dr Balaya when i went into labor at 32 weeks. He was covering for my for my OB while she was away. He made sure I never got discharged from the hospital every day I was there because they kept trying to send me home while i had terrible contractions. I ended up delivering at 33 weeks and I'm thankful he made sure i was kept there. Labor went so quick we would have never made it from our house and being that early was scary enough. He had amazing bedside manners and seemed to really care. I would recommend him to anyone. He was wonderful.

Dr. Balaya was my OB/GYN during my high risk pregnancy due to PIH and concerns with my babies kidneys. He was very calming and cautious with monitoring. I was scared during my surgery because of my Blood pressure and all of the unknowns. But I felt safe he was doing my C-Section. He continued to help me post op with my Blood Pressure. Wonderful MD!!!!!

Top-notch OB/Gyn surgeon who also has a good heart, manners, and listening skills. He is often called to back up other obstetricians and he is regarded by the up-and-coming doctors as THE doctor to learn from. You will be treated as a human being by this practice.

Dr. Balaya MAILED ME A CERT. LETTER WITH A BLOOD STAIN ON THE BACK!! He refused to speak with me, his patient! Major heath risk!!! Background info: I was in need of a refill and was denied even after I had made an appointment, was told I had to be seen first. Staff member incredibly rude. I told her I have an attorney in my family and I would file a complaint, I was upset bc I have been a patient of this practice for fourteen years. She told me I was threatening and then Dr. Balaya mailed me a certified letter discharging me from his practice!! He refused to even speak with me to hear me out, I called five times and was left on hold each time. He then mails me a certified letter with blood stains on the back! how careless and disgusting can a heath office be!?!?! Being discharged from that office was a blessing in disguise. I obtained my refill right away from someone else and I will never have to set foot in that dirty office again. Thank God.

We chose Dr. Balaya because he has a friendly, easy going personality and a good bedside manner. However, his staff is completely incompetent, his office unorganized, and the one time we called during off hours for an emergency there was no doctor on call! His office lost all of my medical records, is never open during their "office hours", waits to see the doctor sometimes exceeded an hour, and they never return phone calls (sometimes they don't even answer the phone at all). I think this office is so bad it is unethical, and I strongly recommend any pregnant woman to seek medical attention elsewhere.
