Dr. Farooq M Lateef, MD

He writes in an Orlando newspaper that he was an honor student at Cornell, when he actually flunked out, went to a second rated school and started to flunk out there too. LIke his Dad who openly boasts about how much he has rippped off Medicare/Medicaid, etc.

used the clinic services for laser . pricing keeps changing , after 2 years of treatment did a bait and switch on prices for the final few sessions. not professional and worst skin clinic .. do not go! you have been warned

Have recommended Orlando Dermatology & Dr. Lateef to many of my friends & family members. Have been his patient since 2005 and am very happy with his care. He is a brilliant dermatologist and his P.A. Is also an excellent medical professional.

In for a complete skin check...instructed not to undress. Dr. Lateef proceeded to do a "complete skin check" while I was fully dressed. Asked me to lift my shirt, and pulled it up a little in the back. HOW does a dermatologist do a complete skin check while you're fully dressed ? Answer: HE DOESN'T....it's impossible. THIS, in my opinion, is inexcusable for ANY dermatologist. My opinion ? Find a doctor that's willing to do his job !

Do not go here. The staff is rude. The wait was ridiculous. My appt was at 3p - didn't get seen until 5p. Bedside manner was non-existent for my 9 year old daughter. He might be ok for an adult, wouldn't be my choice, Dr. Crotty is outstanding. Definitely do not take your children here. Horrible experience, never again!

I've been going to Dr. Lateef's office for about 10 years. I started when I began puberty and acne plagued me. I was young and thought seeing a dermatologist would help me.Unfortunately Dr. Lateef prescriptions of endless cycles of pills, lotions, and creams for ten years never helped me. What finally cured me was my own diligent research about acne and my own personalized regime. Do not waste your time and money going to his office. Why pay $80 for a visit? The doctor or nurse practitioner will spend about three mins in the office with you. In those measly minutes they will write up a prescription and leave. You spend more time in the waiting rooms waiting to see the doctor and then waiting to receive your prescriptions once you are grace by the presence of the doctor/nurse practitioner for the whole THREE minutes. If you're lucky you may get a nurse practitioner that will listen to you for a good five mins before they dismiss what you have to say and insist that you go on Accutane.… Accutane is the cure all answer that you will receive once you've gone through all of their lotions, potions, and pills according to the doctor that is.

I've been going to a dermo since I was younger and I went to Dr. Lateef after my move to Orlando. I have a HUGE scar on my back after he performed a procedure. It was leaking for weeks, and it is still painful when someone touches it. And I received the procedure back in January!!! I went in for a follow-up and they told me that it needed to heal...well this is not the case. I've received the same procedures from a dermo down in south FL and the scars are much smaller and never had this much recovery time. Very disappointed.

Do not see this guy, he has removed several moles from me and left large red scars in their place then gave me a cream for my face that caused it ot become very very very red, imflammed, sensitive, and painful. My face just throbbed in pain. I spent two days holding ice packs to my face until the sensitivity lessened but the redness is still there. I am just hoping that it fades with time.I will never go back and advise others to not even try!

HE COULD BE ARROGANT AND DISCOURTEOUS.IT'S NOT A GOOD THING WHEN YOU ARE A DOCTOR.

so pricey, i dont think that he is worth it...not very hlpful staff disappointment wont go again
