My favorite doctor by far. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I have only ever had issues when pain management was a problem. A few different times, I was prescribed lower level pain meds for things such as kidney stones. I contacted the office back to inform them that I was still in pain but was told "Darvacet is the strongest pain reliever he is willing to prescribe". The urologist immediately gave me oxycodone and told me passing the stone, which is required, would have been impossible without a lithotripsy. Glad I followed up with a specialist. Qaqish is an amazing doctor but seems to be stubborn on pain meds. If I'm in pain for anything over a 5 on the 1-10 scale, I skip seeing him and go directly to a specialist every time.

This guy is just waiting to run any test he thinks might be appropriate, even if he disregards the results. He doesn't spend much time talking to you, refills are always screwed up, leaving you to wait for days. Forget it if you're in need of anything for pain. Even with test-confirmed results of a moderate injury, he has little empathy for someone in pain. The staff is usually just plain rude. After 3 years of seeing him, I'm finding a different doc.
