Dr. Farzad Loghmani, MD

Dr. Loughmani became my pulmonolgist during my firsst hospitalization . I was so fortunate! I have seen him for over 2 years now. His diagnoses are spot on - he has ordered several tests that I didn't think I needed - I was wrong. He thoroughly reviews my (electronic) chart before he enters the exam room. He knows me well, both medically and in terms of significant events in my life. I can contact him with any concern between visits through his nurse. As a critical care specialist, he spends much of his time caring for hospital patients, so it is very important for his nurse to be an effective communicator between us, and she is. Because he responds to emergencies of his hospital patients, the wait time in the office can be annoying, but Dr. L gives me all the time we need during my visit, so I don't begrudge other patients their time.All of the staff in the group practice are friendly, courteous, caring, and good at what they do. It just so happened that Dr. Loghmani cared for my… mother when she was admitted to the hospital. All of us (my mother, my father,Dr.L, and myself) made the decision to move her to hospice. During that time he was frank and gave the medical facts we needed, but did so in a very caring way. While my mother was in hospice, he checked in on us, just to see how I was doing. I would very highly recommend Dr. L.
