Dr. Fatejeet Singh Sandhu, MD

Dr. Jeet Sandhu is Chairman of the Radiology Department and an Interventional and Vascular Radiologist at Danbury Hospital. Dr. Sandhu is fellowship trained in interventional radiology and body imaging, and uses minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions -often times helping patients avoid major surgery.

His technical competencies cover a wide range of disciplines, including interventions for gynecologic, oncologic, gastroenterologic, urologic and vascular care. Procedures and interventions include:

*Fibroid embolization
*Percutaneous biopsy and abscess drainage
*Port implantation
*Biliary and gastrointestinal procedures
*Endo-urologic access
*Vascular access and dialysis
*Inferior vena cava filter placement
*Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)/renal cryoablation
*Hepatic artery embolization for metastatic colon cancer and hepatocellular cancer
