Dr. Fatima S Shah, DO

I felt that Dr. Fatima Shah did not do a thorough examination. She spent maybe a total of 3 minutes talking with me. She told me that I "most likely" had a viral infection, and then proceeded to prescribe me antibiotics. Antibiotics are for bacterial infections, so no idea why she would give me that. Didn't do any swab test to determine if it was a bacterial infection. For in upper respiratory infection she prescribed to me Ciprofloxacin. Said it was a "pretty safe drug" failing to tell me the black box warning issued by the FDA. I went home and did my research on this drug and now I will never trust her again.

Dr. Shah is a very caring individual....she will take the time to listen to all your questions and concerns. I am glad to wait longer for her because she will always give you all the time you need when you get in to see her. She treats the whole being...not just one symptom. She is good about giving you referrals/tests when needed. She is a great doctor!

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Shah as she was very through and detailed. She had addressed all my problems and given enough time during the office visits. I had never had a physician who was so caring and through with her exam and care ! I would highly recommend Dr. Shah as a primary care physician !

My experience was strange. She obviously cares a lot, or is trying hard to look that way. Unfortunately she spends most of her time talking, not allowing the patient to express themselves and I would get the sense that she did not listen carefully enough to understand what I was actually saying.Maybe it's the office; nearly half the staff have turned over in a short period of time.One way or another, after a couple of visits, we decided to go elsewhere.

Visit lacked thorough exam. . . some chatter was superficial.
