He did unnecessary work & ruined my whole bite. This is NOT an honest dentist!!!

I went to Dr. Prato for a extraction of a tooth and and one added to my bottom pratial . Dr. Fausto Prato did an unnecssary root canal, nothing was wrong with the tooth. Varified by a specialist he sent me to. Broke off the back half of my tooth. Then he told me the tooth wasn't going to last anyway. So I asked then why you do do a root canal . No answer. Then he told me I would need a crown, on the tooth he said needed just a root canal. More money. He tried ti fix the problem, the lab That's not the worst part. Dr. Prato drpped the drill on my face leaving a large scar under my bottom lip. It was bruised and swollen. I had to put ice on it for a few days. His sectary was mortified when she seen on my way out. I haden't seen how bad it was until I got home. I did not realize how bad it was because I was still numb from the nonocaine. That's not the worst part either. When I mentioned it to him later. He said he denied dropping the drill on my face. His words ( I did not). So either he… lied or worse, really didn't remember. He reshaped my teeth with resin the two he did the resin is crumbling off the third he never even touched. When I mentioned him not finishing the resin he said he did not charge me. Sarcastically saying I got a freebee. But I was charged $212.00 per tooth. This has cost me more than money. After making mistake after mistake he kept asking what did you come here for. I simply stated I came here to have one tooth pulled and added to my partial. I asked his assistant what was wrong with him. She said oh he's just old!

I recently had a bridge put on four of my front teeth and it's Beautiful! I have been getting many compliments about how good my teeth look and am very pleased with the results.

Dr. Prato has been my dentist for years and I wouldn't have it any other way! Always a friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Prato was able to diagnose my tooth pain. As it turns out, it wasn't a cavity as I had suspected. I will be getting a mouth guard to stop me from clenching my teeth at night which was causing this. Overall, I am pleased with this dentist.

Fausto Does a great job! I had a root canal done with minimal discomfort.

Dr. Prato was excellent. I had no problems making an appointment that fit my schedule and when I got to the office the wait time was <5min before I was in the chair. I grind my teeth at night and was able to get a bite guard fitting that day as well as my normal checkup and cleaning. He's got a good way of making you feel comfortable and explaining what the problem is and what needs to be done as well as recommendations on how to prevent teeth problems. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, it made my trip enjoyable (not often can one say that about seeing a dentist)!!!
