Dr Lafon has a great personality. She cares for her people visit her.

This office was once a good caring place. Now you’re just a burden to everyone once you walk through the front door including the dr. She used to go out of her way to make sure you were taken care of. There used to be smiles on the front office girls faces and they were helpful. Now they are snippy, rude, not helpful. You should feel comfortable going to your dr. And not feel like you have to walk on eggshells to get help. So many other caring drs in this town. I wouldn’t waste any time here anymore. She needs to bring her old office manager back and her old staff back or just retire and let someone who wants to care for you do so.

My family has been going to this office for more than 14 years. I can't believe in the past couple of years how terrible this clinic and the care for her patients have gone down. Her front office is snippy, her nurses are always throwing temper tantrums about having to call the next patient back. And the dr just doesn't help anymore. She's more annoyed that you're taking up her time instead of getting the care you need. She wouldnt even refill my teenage daughters ibp!! You can really tell that after the precious office manager passed away the entire care and kindness and the reason to be there for the patients went away. There is no going out of the way to help you. Everything is put into you and if they heaven forbid have to help it's done as a curtousy. I feel so sad because this plase was once a wonderful place to come when you were sucks you knew you'd be taken care of. Now you know that you are a problem and a hassle for any of them who come into contact. I wouldn't ever… recommend to anyone. Don't waist your time.

This is about a very old appointment from 2002! I thought I had broken a rib, I was in so much pain from it...I had been coughing due to bronchitis/pneumonia. I got an x-ray and it showed there was no break. Dr. La Fon said it was "just a bruised rib". I asked her if a bruised rib could hurt so much? She got very mean and defensive, and said, "I'm the doctor, I know what I'm talking about". I never went to her again. Guess what? It still hurts, to this day, from time to time. Today it hurts so much, it made me think of her, and how I needed to review her. Bad bedside manner, possibly wrong diagnosis. Can a bruise last 13 years?

I've been seeing Dr. La Fon for over 16 years and never had a problem. She's very caring to me and all my whole family. Great staff.

The staff & Doctor Lafon treat your rude & argurmentive if you have questions about your results & etc..... she also NEVER gives you results, she has her staff do it & they have no knowledge of the answers! WORSE PLACE EVER, AVOID PPL.........AWFUL PLACE & STAFF!

i work for a medical facility who deals with dr lafon and this lady is a quack and her staff is rude. needs to go back to school!!!

I have been going to Dr. La Fon for over 10 years, and she has been nothing but helpful, professional, and understanding. My family is large, and we all go see her when we have any health concern. It takes some waiting time to see her, but the wait is justified by the amount of time she spends with us when it is our turn to see her, as she will take all the time you need to accurately diagnose and treat your health concern, plus her in house lab makes testing easy. I highly recommend Dr. La Fon to anyone who is looking for a skilled, professional physician in Las Cruces.
