Dr. Greenwald completed adult psychiatry residency training at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, and continued there for her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, where she served as a chief fellow. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in psychoanalysis from the Institute of Psychoanalytic Education/Psychoanalytic Association of New York. Dr. Greenwald has been nationally recognized by multiple psychiatric organizations. She has served on the Child PRITE (Psychiatry Resident-In-Training-Examination) Editorial Board of the premier American College of Psychiatrists, and participated in writing the sole exam that is taken nationwide by child and adolescent psychiatry residents. She educated other psychiatrists about genetic testing at the American Psychiatric Association.
