Since 2016, he has been dedicated to the research and treatment of musculoskeletal infections that involve bone and soft tissues. He taught at both Emory University and the University of Cincinnati, where he worked with the Cincinnati Center for Bone Infection to develop a multidisciplinary approach to addressing acute and chronic orthopedic infections.
