Dr. Felice Patricia Meadow, DO

This woman is absolutely evil and should not be allowed to practice medicine. I came in to her urgent care clinic in Watertown, MA because I was experiencing anxiety around a medical condition with my hands and feet that 5 other doctors all acknowledged was strange but admitted they couldn't figure out. As I began to describe my symptoms to Dr. Meadow she cut me off mid sentence and said "I read your chart - nothing is wrong with you". I said "I've been to 5 doctors and..." to which she cut me off again and said "you've been to 5 doctors and no one knows what's wrong because nothing is wrong with you." At this point I was stunned and silent at how dismissive and cold she was - she told me to flip over my insurance card and call the number on the back for mental health. I have no history of mental health whatsoever, am certainly no hypochondriac, and so I looked at her and calmly said "I don't have mental health issues" to which she looks at me dead in the eyes and says "you absolutely… do have mental health issues" at that point I start to put on my jacket to exit the room and as one final dig she asks me..."oh before you go, I have to ask..have you ever tried to harm yourself or others" to which I followed up with "NO, because I do not have any mental health issues." and left the building. Keep in mind this woman asked me zero questions about my symptoms and didn't even try to look at my hands or feet during the time I saw her. Fast forward a day later - my biopsy results return from the lab that I did with another (much more reputable) doctor only to find out I have a very rare disease with less than 100 cases reported in the world and am being forwarded to an excellent hospital in the area for a case study and to try to find some treatment and relief. Turns out my anxiety was valid, I knew something was wrong because I know my body. I wanted to share this experience because Dr. Meadow is a danger to her patients, lacks compassion, and should have her license revoked. I hope no one else has an experience even similar to the one I had and I encourage people to head my warning about her. Chose literally ANYONE ELSE for your care. This woman is checked out and dangerous.
