I have had a total of four other gastrointestinal doctors during the past forty years of my adult life, and two earlier colonoscopys in the past ten years. I can say, without reservation, that Dr. Zwas is as good as they come in her field of medicine. Knowledgable, thorough, accurate, she listens, she communicates and she is compassionate. I went to her, and found out later, that I presented three out of the three danger signs for colon cancer; she did not alarm me, but merely got me in for a colonoscopy swiftly. She caught a large polyp, thankfully, before things could have turned into colon cancer, and for that I am forever grateful. She is a skilled doctor, and knows her stuff BIG TIME. I adore her. I feel blessed that she is my doctor.

Dr. Zwas was interrupted at least 3 times during the 30 minutes that I spent with her. I was very anxious and her distraction didn't help at all. Then she would scream for the nurse or receptionist (I am not sure) instead of using the intercom. I left the office so anxious, I couldn't drive home right away. Dr. Zwas is very pleasant and I can see why her patients like her. She just didn't seem aware of my great anxiety.

The whole office was like a factory and I felt that I was just moving along on a conveyor belt. Dr. Zwas is a nice person, and I wonder whether the short shrift that I got was an office policy or her style. Somehow, from all that I have heard, it is the office, and not she. I will definitely go again and try to be an early AM patient. I think she will turn out to be surprisingly great.
