Dr. Felicia Gallucci, MD

Someone recommended Dr. Galluci because of her “expertise” in adolescent eating disorders. I took the day off of work and my daughter took the day off of school to go to her. When we got there, we were told we had to fill out questionnaires on a computer for about 30 minutes each. During that time, my daughter was with one of the young male residents who was doing his rounds. He was not experienced at all and just asked questions. My daughter spent 30 minutes crying and having a panic attack because she was extremely uncomfortable with him. I told her she was seeing a female doctor who was experienced but ended up only seeing Dr. Galluci for about five minutes when we were all together and she told us what medication my daughter should take. My daughter was even worse by the time we left. I got a bill in the mail for almost $400 for an hour of her time. When I went to dispute it, she was dishonest about the whole visit. I requested the notes and they are all false. The notes are taken… by the residence with no experience. My daughter did not spend the time with the doctor that she actually stated. It is very sad and disappointing that doctors take such advantage. Especially a child with severe depression.
