Felicia Windnagel, APRN-CNP

Felicia Windnagel, APRN-BC, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in advanced practice nursing. She earned her certification in 2007 and later completed a post-master’s certificate in Acute Care in 2019. Her background includes extensive clinical experience in medical-surgical and intensive care nursing.
From early in her career, Felicia knew she wanted to pursue her master’s degree and take on a greater role in patient care. Her passion for cardiology has been a consistent driving force, and she is dedicated to helping patients live their healthiest and most active lives.
Felicia believes that education is empowering—giving patients the tools they need to take an active role in their own health. Her care philosophy centers on collaboration, confidence-building, and creating strong partnerships between patients and providers.
Her interest in coronary disease prevention is both professional and personal. Several of her family …members have undergone surgical interventions for heart disease—experiences that have strengthened her belief in the power of early education and lifestyle changes to prevent or lessen the severity of cardiovascular illness.
Outside of work, Felicia and her husband have been married for nearly 25 years. Together, they enjoy spending time with their growing family, which includes two stepsons, their spouses, and four wonderful grandchildren. A passionate traveler, Felicia often has her next adventure planned—and she and her husband have recently embarked on a new journey into the world of camping with the purchase of their first travel trailer.
