Appointment was at 10am. 1045 we go back to a room. 1120 a Fellow comes in. Says he will be right back with Dr. Albuquerque. 1140 and no one has come in. My elderly mother and I leave because she has another appointment at 1215. I understand things happen and doctors get behind. Common courtesy would be appreciated. Acknowledge you know the patient is here and has been waiting. Being ignored for an hour and a half is just rude. Receptionists were very nice and apologetic. She asked if we wanted to reschedule. A doctor that runs his practice with no consideration of patients time or acknowledgement is no longer a doctor I choose to see. He may be an excellent doctor but it takes more than his skill to be an all around amazing doctor.

I am so grateful that Dr: Albuquerque accepted my case to treat an unruptured brain Aneurysm. He successfully performed Endovascular surgery by coiling the aneurysm to prevent further growth or rupture. He is truly professional in every sense of the word as well as kind and compassionate. I felt that I was in the best hands I could possibly be.

Thanks to Dr Albequerque And his PED device I've had a new outlook on life.

Dr. Albuquerque saved my life. I suffered a Fisher 3 hemorrhagic aneurysm and was airlifted to Barrow where Dr. Albuquerque and his team performed surgery in the middle of the night. They followed me in hospital for a month and treated every vascular spasm immediately. Because of his rapid and brilliant treatment I have only the most minor of deficits as a result of the aneurysm. I am truly lucky and thankful for Dr. Albuquerque, his team, and all the staff at St. Joseph's Barrow Institute.

My father was brought to Barrow's with a pulmonary embolism and Dr Albuquerque was the only doctor who spent time explaining things to my mother and our family. He was caring and considerate to us as my father was dying. We will never forget the kindness and professionalism he showed us... he is an example of what all doctors should be!
