Dr. Castro and Vanessa are very through and I feel that I'm getting the very best care.

Dr. Castro listened well and answered my questions.

Dr. Castro has done two cardioversions for me and he is the best! He is kind, explains everything that is going to happen and puts you at ease. It's a scary thing to have done even if you are anesthetized. Hopefully, I won't have to have another one, but if I do, I want Dr. Castro to do it. In fact, this time, I asked for him specifically. Luckily, he was working at the hospital this week so he could help me. Also, he seems very appreciative of the other doctors and nurses helping him, so I think that speaks to who he is as a person.

Dr. Castro has refused to address this issue in his office. His staff is unprofessional and refuse to do their jobs.Monique refused to look up a telephone number for an insurance company for us - said she was too busy. Instead of making our visit calming and allowing my husband to worry about his appointment, she rudelyinsisted that he 'need to do that'. That it 'wasn't her job' to assist patients. In fact, she threatened that if we did not come up with the phone number, we would be paying out of pocket for the visit. A swarm of people at the desk, but not one can see fit to assist a patient who is having a hard enough time and needs to remain calm for their cardiology appointment. Extremely disappointed. Would never recommend this practice based on interaction with this staff. Dr. Castro needs to re-staff this office before he loses more patients to this bad bahavior.
