I can't believe Dr Ramirez left me high and dry.. I've been a patient of his 2007 and receive excellent results from him. Now he relocates from 2301 n. university dr Pembroke pines Fl. to present location at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah Florida and doesn't even accept my insurance anymore, just a select few. How can a physician do this to his long time established patients without any empathy for them. Maybe these physicians have finally gotten all the wealth they need and can finally select who they want to see and can afford the small selection of insurances they will accept. Now I visited dr Nancy Erickson that moved into his former office which is another story and im not happy. So sad Dr Ramirez did this to me. If i had the cash to pay for my occipital nerve block, I would pay him. but i don't have that type of money. Good bye my doctor. I will call later in a couple of months to see if he has changed his mind and will accept my insurance. Went to dr Erickson's office,… only spoke with her PA who worked with me. I didn't even meet this new physician which is strange. Dont know if i want to go back.

I've been seeing Dr Ramirez for 4 years. When I first went I was in so much pain. Dr Ramirez spoke with me about all my options and knowing I was not kean on surgery helped me find the best way to manage my pain.....not let it manage me. I am forever grateful.

My husband was scheduled for a surgical procedure, however, Dr. Ramirez closed his office and my husband is left high and dry and in extteme pain. NOT PROFESSIONAL!

I had an appointment with Dr. Ramirez just to show my MRI and schedule a procedure (Foraminal Steroid Injection). Actually, there was no point in having this appointment since I already had a diagnosis. However, I got the information from the office’s front desk, that my insurance would pay for the appointment, so that was ok. It took no more than 10 minutes and we schedule the procedure which, later, was denied by my insurance. After a month, I received a bill charging me $277.67 for that appointment which should be covered by my insurance. Dr. Ramirez charged “ONLY” $643.00 for it. Dr. Ramirez could have appealed for the insurance denial, but he didn’t. He should had referred a physical therapist that was demanded by the insurance company, but he didn’t. What he DID was charge! So, now I had to pay for a pointless appointment… Recommend? Course not!

I lost 30 lbs with Dr. Ramirez. His staff was very nice to me always.
