Dr. Fellipe Mendes Oliveira, MD

Waste of time and energy.

Waited months for an appointment to see Dr. Oliveira, a rheumatologist. Having significant joint pain and was newly diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis during my first visit. Although friendly, did not feel like Dr. Oliveira listened to my concerns regarding treatment and family history. Unfortunately, I had such horrible interactions with his nurse Stephanie, on multiple occasions, I felt my care could be jeopardized. His nurse definitely had a "take it or leave it" attitude and was extremely rude and abrupt over the phone multiple times with simple issues. Unfortunately, a patient like my self is at the mercy of our insurance of who is covered under our plan and specialist such as a rheumatologists, you can wait months to get an appointment. Also, very vulnerable and desperate to get a treatment plan that will help assist the pain and the disease process. Would never return back to this practice. I felt like I didn't count as a valued patient. They made me feel that they were too… busy to assist with my individual needs. Would not recommend Dr. Oliveira or his nurse, Stephanie. Maybe another physician in the practice if they had a different nurse might be better.
