Meet Dr. Fernan Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez has been making beautiful smiles in the Dallas and Fort Worth area for nearly a decade. After several years of practicing as an associate for a group practice, at the end of 2009, he joined and eventually bought Dr. Gallaghers Practice in Grand Prairie. He loves interacting with each patient to discover the smile they deserve and becoming a part of their lives. Originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala, he attended Francisco Marroquin University and received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees, graduating second in his dental class. Continuing with his studies and training at Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Rodriguez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Orthodontics is a …constantly evolving field and new technology means new treatment options. Dr. Rodriguez continues to stay up-to-date on the newest techniques and treatments available through the numerous courses and seminars that he regularly attends. This knowledge enables him to offer the best quality orthodontic care to every patient of any age.
He uses the latest in self-ligating brackets (Metal and Ceramic In-Ovation System), Invisalign and Invisalign-Teen, and Dr. Rodriguez is also trained in the use of temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and soft tissue laser.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. Dr. Rodriguez loves being active in the local community and is a member of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce and is also one of the proud founding members of the North Texas Hispanic Dental Association where he has served as vice president and is a current member of the board.
When he is not in the office, you can find him on the golf course, playing tennis, reading a good book or traveling the world.
