Dr. Fernando Domingo Vega, MD

I was a patient of Dr Vegas, as was my now adult son for over 20 years. He is, by far, the best doctor I’ve ever had. He cares about you as a person as well as a patient. Due to losing insurance I had to switch to Dr Koller and she was equally caring and knowledgable. I feel lucky to have had both of these amazing doctors treat me. Sadly, Dr Koller is retired, and I’m hoping to see Dr Vega again now that I have my insurance back.

Absolutely horrible experience . Do not see this man under any circumstances ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. he preformed what I later learned to be a completely unnecessary pelvic exam (in which I felt he had no real idea what he was doing , fumbling, not alerting me of what he was doing in the moment, etc), after asking him point blank if it was absolutely necessary and if there was any other alternative. He said yes it was the only way ,after consulting other drs I learned that this was 100% untrue. There were countless other ways he could have confirmed my condition. He was also apparently unaware that the extremely time sensitive medication he prescribed to me , was illegal to carry at ANY pharmacy within 100 miles of me (I was informed by a pharmacist at the 4th pharmacy I went to in attempts to obtain said medication) wasting several hours of my time and worsening the severity of my condition. Overall extremely creepy and utterly traumatic situation. This man should have his… license revoked.

Dr. Vega has been my physician for over 20 yrs. I trust him with any health issues that I may have. He's a good listener, treats the cause instead of the symptoms.
