Dr. Ferne Nilsa Cummings, MD

1. Infection in her feet in legs that mom had for 5 years that Dr. Cummings refuse to treat or send her to a specialist. 2. Sore on her bottom that Dr. Cummings told her it was Singles and was bed sores instead.

It's bad when your there for your appointment on time then you have to wait one to two hrs in waiting room then a hr in the room before seen

Cancels appointments without notice, no priority on rescheduling, even cancelled an appointment with patient waiting in the office. Staff seems disinterested in patient care and confidentiality. In reading other reviews, it seems staff problems at Dr. Cummings office go back years. If you get into the office with Dr. Cummings, she does spend time with you, although you must make sure your prescriptions are accurately noted in your chart and called into pharmacies. Experienced numerous problems in this area...and since she faxes prescriptions into the pharmacy, there's no way to review for accuracy prior to leaving her office. Her office has voicemail, but messages aren't returned--in my experience and referrals are often delayed or forgotten (?) Very disappointed with the overall experience with this doctor and her office.

WIt times a little too long but Dr Cummings is a great doctor, highly recommend.

Waited 90 minutes past my appointment time. Since SHE was so late, and she had allowed my mid-afternoon appointment to slip to closing time, Dr. Cummings just decided she would call it a day. Staff would not refund my copay before I left (without being seen), which was paid in cash. So I also had to wait 3 weeks for my copay to be returned by mail.I should have filed a complaint with the State but she's not worth my time. A physician who acts like this, however, is not fit to practice.

Dr Cummings is an awesome doctor,it takes a little patience to see her, but when she sees you, it's all your time and attention, she is one of the few who truly cares!!!!

The wait time to SEE the doctor is 45 min. to an hour plus. The wait time in the exam room is just as long. Plan to lose 3-4 hours from start to finish. Getting a call back on refills is way too long, days usually. Staff are curt and unfriendly. Doctor is always in a hurry, and leaves before telling patient that you can go. You have to find a nurse to see if you are finished!

Terrible office staff; doesn't return phone calls; incorrect coding to insurance company; won't work with patients to correct; Dr won't call back; wrong diagnosis and charges separate consultation for yearly well check-up....will never go back. Beware!!

Very high turnover in the office never see the same nurses twice, Dr. NEVER calls back and it is hard getting lab results to take to other dr.s.
