In2010, Dr. Willingham performed ablation therapy on my esophagus after a cancerous polyp was found due to Barrett's Esophagus. He was kind and attentive and thanks to him and Dr. Force listening to me, I'm still doing well!

Dr. Willingham is very sure of himself, to the point that he doesn’t listen well and consider patient information. This led to multiple oversights, ridiculous recommendations, all the while I continued to get sicker. It wasn’t until I went to another doctor who took my symptoms seriously, and ultimately saved my life. If you are a patient and have difficult issues, you must advocate for yourself until somebody hears you. Never give up doing that. This doctor simply isn’t that helpful with complicated issues.

After suffering with undiagnosed and then untreated IBS and lactose intolerance, I saw Dr. Willingham six weeks ago. What an incredible improvement that made over the treatment from my prior gastroenterologist. Dr. Willingham is the consummate listener AND diagnostician. It's easy to see why his incredibly fine reputation precedes him. Dr. Willingham listened intently and patiently and on the first visit came up with a dietary recommendation that has been ideal and positively life-changing. I am in his debt for his caring and brilliant (and I don't use that word casually) approach to treatment. To add that I'm grateful to be his patient is an understatement. When it comes to gastroenterologists, he is the doctors' doctor and I can never thank him enough.

Dr Willingham worked hard to figure out what caused a G.I. bleed in me. After such an experience, I feared it happening again. I had had my surgery. Dr. Willingham truly calmed me and make me feel much more secure about my situation. I feel that any patient under his care is receiving the very best care!

Dr. Willingham is one of the BEST doctors I have ever encountered! He makes you feel comfortable and he answers any and all questions you may have. Every time we see him, he is always the same: kind, friendly, and makes you feel like you are his only patient. I highly recommend Dr. Willingham.

Dr Willingham is an excellent dr. He diagnosed my mom's problem right away. He bedside manner is superb. He listens to your concerns. Overall excellent dr and surgeon.

I specifically asked for a consult with a gastroenterologist for several related problems I have had and been treated for by generalists at the clinic/hospital with which Dr. Willingham is associated. I got an appointment right away-the first one of the day. Dr. Willingham showed up 50 minutes late (he had been talking with his staff in the hall outside the room), unprepared, even though I had specifically asked that the physician review my records prior to the visit. When I asked him if he had looked at my records, he said he "glanced" at them. His "advice" was based on gereral information, not on a thorough evaluation of my particular problems, treatments, and responses. It was, pretty much, a waste of my time and money.
